These are issues most women have as they age and the reasons are mostly due to the stressors we place our bodies under every day. Listed below are some of the major ones in no particular order:
I am sure you could probably add many things to this list, but I am sure you get the picture.
Lump these all together (and most of us have these going on simultaneously on a daily basis) and you will have a hard time remaining unstressed. Stress upsets your hormone balance in your body and inevitably you gain weight, can’t lose it or keep it off, your energy levels drop and you get joint pain from either arthritis or being overweight or some other systemic imbalance.
In addition, most of us have had these stressors going on for years and years. So it is no wonder that by the time you hit your mid 40’s these three frustrations arise and some!
All is not lost however. You can improve if you are prepared to work at it and invest in your health and wellbeing. The first step is acknowledgement of where you may have stress in your life.
Use the list above to start you off then add to it if you need to. Then put a plan in place to start adding some de-stressing activities into your day. Here's a sheet to help you with that.
Secondly, have a look at your nutrition. Is it as good as it could be? Are you are having too many processed foods and not enough veggies? Are you getting adequate amounts of protein and healthy fats? Here's a great meal planner resource to help you with that.
